How do you keep an old-ass franchise, lead by an equally old ass leading actor? Why insert a lot gratuitous violence. And booms, there you have Rambo. Seriously, this movie has more gore than any of my 3 most graphic X-box 360 games combined. Simulated computer violence can't hold a candle to the stuff in this movie. All in all, everything you'd expect from a good old fashioned run and gun movie...
...that's NOT suitable for 7 year olds!
We roll into the theater and off in the front row is this blonde kid who couldn't be anymore than 7 or 8. So Akilah was watching this kid react to guys have their intestines spilled onto the dirt, legs being blown off land mines and .50 rounds randomly rip off appendages. During some of the scenes he tried to avert or cover his eyes. All the while the trashy looking chick who brought him was completely oblivious.
Death to innocence.
