You
ever meet someone that you seem to totally click with? That happened to
me today. She's just crazy, sexy, cool. She's a redhead (naturally!),
loves sports, ambitious, and likes DMX…how tight is that?? Anyway we talked
forever and then we hung out that whole day. Hung out at Goleta beach,
showed her around down town, and then went to the beach at the base of
1000 steps. That was funny because she was playing the surf like a big
kid, and I said as much. She was having much fun. Graduation Beach party

You
can't live in Santa Barbara and not have beach parties. It was the perfect
way to open up Graduation Weekend 2000. Graduating
were Nat, Tish, Sally, Cathy, and more of our other friends. It was cool.
I got some really nice pictures of the crew. You should check 'em out!

Tish's graduation There's something about a graduation that renews you
and makes you want to strive forward to finish your coursework to get
your degree too. Today I was my Latisha's (aka Tish) ceremony. She has
like a bunch of majors and minors, AND she worked AND she volunteered
and did I mention she worked too…she gets much props. I wanted to say
hi and take her pic as she was marching out, but she cut out, so she could
avoid the mass rush at the end of the line.

Today was Nat's graduation and he is a Global Studies major. He is Latisha's
boyfriend and they're like that couple you see out that seems all happy
and crap…the kind that makes you wanna barf ya know? Haha! On the real,
they are good people. He did the same thing and bugged out before getting
to the end of the line…you'd think I would have learned from the day before.
I met up with one of my Political Science TA's, Catherine. We waited and
waved at people we knew, and shared in their sense of accomplishment.
Damn it felt good. I wonder what I will feel when my day comes… Catherine
also had her Master's ceremony. After that we had dinner at Margie's Diner
and had the best damn milk shake I've had in life! Yes, I love food! Are
you seeing a reoccurring theme here? Haha!
