Saw The Fast and Furious with Tara….DUDES! That is THE tighted movie I have scene this year! If you haven't guessed, I have a thing for cars. Leave me and my issues alone! Lol Cars rock! They are NOT just a means of getting from Point A to Point B. They're supposed to inspire you, move you, invigorate you! Wooohhaa!!

Did I ever mention that I make a concerted effort to keep my promises? Did I also mention how freakin' easy it is to dare me into doing junk!? Grr!! Chris, my friend from my major, came over for dinner. It was my present to her, a 4 course dinner. I got suckered into this, because she didn't think I could cook. Sometimes I am a detriment to my gender! To be soooo easily goaded!! Haha! Course 1: spicy grilled shrimp. Course 2: Salad of baby greens, red and yellow bell pepper, cucumber, olives and feta cheese. Course 3: main course was chicken parmignana (sp.) and pasta. Course 4: Desert was fresh whipped cream (lil vanilla, sugar, and nutmeg) and fresh strawberries. Allegedly I did some blasphemy by eating the strawberries with a fork instead of my fingers. Hmmm…whateva! It was still good. Haha!!
Ok, is it possible for a guy or woman who is seeing someone to have dinner together and it NOT be an issue? Chris was giving me flack for having dinner with her, since I was involved with Julie. And having strawberries-n-crème pushed it over the edge. Is my testosterone blending me from seeing something critical here?? I don't think so. Granted Chris is fine, with a capital 'F'. But we are friends, and no more. May be I need to learn more or something???
Since she knows I have a thing for photography, she gave me this really cool metal picture frame. Now if only I had a place to put pictures up!! Thanks shorty!

There are days when you wake feeling like, this is going to be a productive day. You just KNOW you'll get stuff done. Ever wake up with that feeling? Well this day was the complete opposite! Lol! I woke up this morning and from the word, jump, it was a great day. It was an idyllic Central Coast day. The temperature hovered around 70 degrees, there seemed to be a light breeze, a few clouds hung in the sky adding to the coolness of the day. It was one of those days where you asked yourself, "what the hell am I doing in the office?!" haha! Needless to say I bugged out a tad bit early…I can make the time up really easy. Called Cami to see what the 411 was. Max and Mollie were out of school, so she was going down to the beach for a walk with the kids and John. I think I invited myself or she invited haha.
Got there around the time we said we'd meet, just in time to see them walk around the 'pointe' of campus point. For those of you who have never seen this place - it is tight! I'll have to take some pics and post them. There are these rocks that sit about 5 yards off shore, and sit about 5 or 6 feet above the water, and the biggest one is probably about 20 feet square and the smallest about 10 feet square. The water will come crashing in creating this awesome shower effect. One of these days I'm going to find someone to model. It's one of those where a woman with long hair, wearing some waif-like would be ideal.
Back to my walk…I ended up hanging back and not running to catch up with them right away. They looked like they were having fun, and I wanted some time to think on my own. What is it about a beach around sunset that does that to people? I walked and thought and walked and thought a whole lot. I was so feeling this.
That night I went over to Helmuth's for dinner and to kick it. Their house is SOOO tight! Even more true, is THAT house is THEIR house. It suits their lifestyle, personalities, everything like a glove. Here is something really really sad, but in an oh so funny way! Cami rented Everything You Wanted to Know About Sex, by Woody Allen. I'd never seen this flick, but it seemed interesting. Cami had the idea of watching it outside on the patio. Ok no biggie right? Well she wanted to watch it from the Jacuzzi! Haha! Overhead there was a Chinese spy satellite watching and cursing us decadent Americans!! HAHA!! So we're out there, Cami, Max, Skyler, Mollie, and me watching this thing. The movie was kinda funny, but when I grow up I wanna have it like that!!

Met with Noel over at Calle Reale to talk about our scene - and we both agreed, it was better than during an practice that we had! It's funny, there are things that don't hit you and your partner till you sit down and talk about it later. Like for example the scene is pretty damn sad. I'm playing a Mormon husband, who is just realizing that I'm gay. And Noel is my wife who is turning to Valium to solve her problems. The script is really well written, but I never thought it would be funny! Haha! Well people laughed and gasped and we agreed it went well, but would be ever better with more practice.

Chelsea and I made plans to go biking. Whoa. You gotta feel me on this, Chelsea HARDLY makes plans. She is the proverbial social butterfly haha! Always out and doing something. So when she said she wanted to make plans to bike, it was sorta major haha. Her and I are on the same accord with making plans though. To us they are tantamount to a promise that shouldn't be broken.
She
showed up with this brand new, clean looking full suspension mountain
bike. I'm looking at this thing …that was MADE to go off-road and we were
gonna do just that! We rode to Lake Los Carneros and the ride there was
pretty uneventful. The fun began once we got there! I took her through
some of 
the
trails…gopher holes and ditches and hills oh my! We worked hella hard!
Evidence by the major saddle soreness we felt after! Haha! I had to give
Chelsea a hard time though cause who in their right mind would wear cute
panties to a ride like that! Haha! Spandex isn't just good for the 80s!!
LOL
After the ride we went to Woody's BBQ. It just HAPPENED to be all you can eat beef rib night. Oh were happy. Chels gave only after 2 plates. I think I went through 4 I was happy!!!

Nikki and I hung out today. We really didn't do much other than go to the Lake and to Coldstone's for ice cream. That place rocked! I've been looking forward to touching base with her for many months, but we met up and it was sort of anti-climactic. I don't hate her and she doesn't hate me…and I know she was looking forward to hooking up again…so I dunno what happened. Still got love for you Nikki!
Will giving scenes ever get easy?? Will the butterflies ever stop? Tonight Noel and I gave the first performance of our scene. It went better than I think both of us had thought. At the last minute I added some actions to the scene that made it a lot more believable. One down…whew.

Graduation
Day. Class of 2001!!! Where is the party at? 9AM Faculty Green lawn, that's
where it's at! I've been waiting for this day, for so long. I have no
words. Chris who I've known for about 3 years, who is also in my major,
and I agreed to meet up in the line. Yes, this is the same Chris dragging
my 
behind
all over God's creation looking for a place to hike!! It's a good thing
too cause we both said we didn't know ANYone else in that damn line haha!
We met in the Thunderdome and met up with this guy who seem to not have
any friends at all with him, so we all cracked jokes and celebrated and
were just happy together!
One of the highlights of that day was this girl. How do I explain this? This girl we guessed got hot and decided to take off her robe. As a guy, I didn't mind this at all LOL. Cause UNDER her robe she wore what looked like a black, short, lacey slip. It came up past mid thigh, was kinda see through around her boobs, and was dead sexy! Why did this, I haven't the foggiest idea! LOL!!
Oh yea, some of the speakers we were REALLY funny!! Using words I have NEVER heard of in my 26 years of existence!! It was too damn funny!!
Afternoon
After
the ceremony we went to Fortune Garden Chinese restaurant. If you are
EVER in Goleta and you need Chinese food, you call on these people. Their
stuff is fresh and oh so damn tasty! About 15 people showed up. I'm sorry
I have to give some specific shout outs: Grandma from Virginia! Thank
you G'ma!

and Allison from San Mateo…the drove down here JUST for my graduation.
Thank you guys. Tasha who also came from Oakland just for my graduation…you
my girl!! Also there was my Pops, Jenice, her parents, my boy Oz, John,
Cami, Mollie, Max, Dave, Eydie, Beth, and Sammie!! Thank you guys!! It
was too funny cause my friends from SB were outside and my family were
inside, so I had to go bouncing from place to place and eating twice as
much haha! That part I didn't mind.
After the dinner, I felt this wave emotion rush over me. My roommate has a word for it…when I'm done with a scene I feel it, but I forgot the word he used. I wept a little. Just want to say thank you to all my family and friends who have stuck by me when I was whiny, bitchy, could hardly get a hold of me, and all around sometimes not a very good son or not a very good friend. I'm sorry and thank you for sticking by me. That evening after a long nap, I went over the Helmuth. Beth was going to make chicken Marsalis, a new dish for me. Can I tell you it was DAMN GOOD?!?! Run quick to Beth's house and ask her to make some for you! Don't surprised if her husband makes you leave at gunpoint! Haha!

Caribbean
Festival. Ooohh baby! I love those 2 words! John, Cami, Max, Mollie Tasha,
and I headed down there to get some grub. Oh man I was too happy! I had
curry goat, chicken and 
beef
pate's (almost like an empanada), and jerk chicken. On the side with some
plantains and some red beans and rice. Nice. They were playing reggae
music I was totally feeling the whole experience! Good friends, good music,
and good food!
Later that evening we went and saw Shrek. I was really looking forward to it, but it was aiight The plot was really cool, but the execution was bleh.

This is the weekend to party!! It began last night with kicking it over at the Helmuth's. Tonight I get to have a serious treat! What treat?? Dancing with some of my BEST friends here in Santa Barbara! Cami! Beth! Tasha from the BA! John!! Woohaaa!!! Dave and Maggie from acting class came too!
I CAN NOT take Cami ANYwhere! Every time we go out some tries to molest her…this time it was some Hispanic guy copping a feel! Grrr! I'm really appreciative of Cami coming out cause she isn't really into techno, house, or hip hop. She was real sport about it..thanks Cami!
Tasha has to get crazy props cause she came to SB for the singular reason of going to my graduation and helping me celebreate. Dang I almost forgot to mention a lil sumthin' sumthin' that Tasha was wearing….ahem! My girl was sporting this sequined bra under vest. How do I know this? Cause she revealed it…yes that word is quite apropos…she REVEALED it to us. Haha! You go girl! Monday,
