Today I had a few appointments downtown, one of which was at Fielding. It was so weird being back, but it was great seeing my friends again though. Beth (with the baby girl) was the funniest. I was standing behind her and she turned around and screamed…haha! Love ya shorty! Pam was pretty funny too…again I walked up behind her and she just like did a triple take…haha.

Peep this…I also saw my old sensei from tae kwon do. He is so cool! I feel bad cause I ordered a uniform and never picked it up. We talked for a bit and he said that I was welcomed back in his class anytime. I think I'll have to go back…woohaa! Let the butt kicking begin!

Went by Cami's printing company to see about business cards, and damn if it wasn't good to see her again!

Don't know what got into me, but I went to Goleta beach to have lunch and to just think. It was a gorgeous day. I love the beach.

I went to Woody's with John and Max that night. John had an interesting take on the WTC attack. He said the airlines are at fault, and I asked him how could that be. I was very dubious. He looked at me at said, 4 planes were successfully high jacked. With that, I could not argue with.

This night Mary and Lucy came along to Q's too. Mary is Jelena's Croatian friend with legs that just don't end!! Top it off, she was wearing a short skirt…whoa mamma! I was NOT feeling this night though. The club was too packed and 2 altercations broke out near us. Grrr!! On top of that I was playing bodyguard again. It's a role I don't mine playing…but this was an all night thing. Still I did it cause I look out for my friends whenever we go out.

The coupe de grace of the night, was about 1AM my knee started to throb. When I was 15 I was hit by a car and my leg at the knee bent in the wrong direction - and quite far I might add. Every now and then if I work out or dance too hard, it will act up. Tonight it was in true form. Driving home was very painful. The only thing I could do was get into bed and will myself to sleep and pray in the morning it would better.

I saw someone today I hadn't seen in awhile. I was glad to see them, but then they pissed me off. They were working 2 jobs, by choice and I was still looking for another job. Well while I'm looking I'm not going to sit at home and waste away. If I can do low-key things, I will. Her and her roommate and I used to go dancing, and I asked her when are we going again. She made a comment about how some of us have to work. Hell with her. People used to think that working part time at Fielding was a cakewalk. Where were they when I was working 30-40 hours…which I always didn't get paid…AND talking 4 or 5 classes at a time? Where were they when I would go to class mentally drained cause of dealing with whatever drama or issues of that day? It was a choice I made, but I'll be damned if I'll let anyone think doing what I did was a cakewalk.

I need to go out tonight. This week I feel like I've been walking around like a zombie. I have thoughts and feelings and sentiments about this week's events, but I will not be using my site as political sounding board. My prayer is that our response is a prudent one. I called Jelena and we went to Sharkeez. I pretty much danced most of the night by myself, working out my stress and anxieties.

WTF!? I have no words for today! Who the hell would want to plow 2 planes into the World Trade Center and Pentagon?? For the love of God, how can someone's hate and resolve be so absolute?? I have been praying and will continue to pray.

Tasha and I had brunch at this diner type place. It was tight. I hadn't had grits I a damn long time and theirs was really good!! It was odd cause I wanted to go back to SB but I didn't want to leave Tasha…sigh. She is such cool people. After a few hours of kicking it, I drove back to SB and made good time.

I have been eating like royalty these last couple of weeks!! Dude!! Today was a Chinese buffet that Tasha and I went to. It was tight. Ok, here is my thing about food: I will try most anything. HOWEVER, texture is very important. If something feels nasty in my mouth, it doesn't matter how good it tastes - I ain't eating it! Lol! So I tried some stuff, and some stuff only once…haha!

We then went and played Hyper Bowling again and this time I got worked! We chose a different course than last time…and damn it was hard! You could randomly fall off the lane! I will concede defeat, but Tasha said it wasn't a fair win, cause it was so hard. Well she won tho….this time!

Later that night, we watched The Blair Witch Project II. What can I say? This movie SUCKED. LOL!! The first one was really good though. Considering what they were working with it was really good. And I guess if you watch certain parts you see "spooky" (Tasha's word) things. Dude it was just a bunch of postproduction people with too much time on their hands. Haha!

My question is this: why would ANYone want to tempt their fate with messing with stuff like that?? There was this series on MTV where they would give kids $5,000 to do all these strange incantations to summon spirits and what not. I'm sorry, but my soul is PRICELESS!!!

Saw my girl Tasha!!! She took me to this TIGHT BBQ joint. My arteries were screaming! Afterwards we went and played pool. Those were the longest 4 games in life! I sunk the 8 ball twice, won one, and then Tasha dropped the 8 ball once. Ok, so I'll admit it…that first game Tasha was working my behind! She was sinking shots left and right with extreme prejudice! Guess what…that last game I was kicking but! I had the cue behind and dropping all kinds of shots!

This morning I left for Oakland to see my mom and little brother. My mom was really into the plans for the house so we didn't spend a lot of time together. It's all good cause Nathaniel and I kicked it.

Allison and I went into the city in her Miata! Aww yeaa! Aiight I have to admit it…I LOVE convertibles! And the way Allison was driving I can see why people love these cars! They are light and nimble! I was LA once and saw this convertible Aston Martin DB7. Oh my friggin' goodness this car was off da hook! One of these day I want to be able to afford a nice and powerful convertible!

I had the idea of having sushi right…guess what…it was a holiday!! Duh! Allison spent an hour trying to find a place for us to go to cause her normal places where closed. We found one and it was tight! Allison and I needed some sushi…and the place was really great. Allison spent a bunch of time in Japan, speaks Japanese, and knows a whole lot of Japanese culture. Over lunch we talked about a lot of things Japanese…it was quite nice.

Ok, every time I visit Jay makes something off da hinges! Well my boy made these Mongolian beef sandwiches for us for dinner! Dude it was tight! The beef was tender right…and then there were sliced onion, cabbage, and other veges. There was a serious hint of ginger too…it was tight! Oooh, oooh…and he made this aioli (a fresh spicy mayonnaise). You made the sandwich by taking some pita bread, spread the aioli, and pile on the beef and veges…dude it was tasty! For desert he whipped up some berry pie…that and some ice cream…woohaa!

It was today I realized how screwed my diet has been! Haha! Getting back into the swing of things is gonna be a bear! Well, that's what's vacations are for right? lol

All of us went to a BBQ today for a friend of theirs, whose name was also Allison. Allison be a cutey! It was a pot luck sort of thing where we had to bring our own meat and Jay hooked us up! He brought NY steaks which he grilled there…tastey! He put this Paul Prudhomme blackened seasoning on there that was TIGHT!

I NEED a Play Station 2!!! Dudes!! They when and bought Gran Turismo 3…this game is sooo tight! The graphics are tight! Like on the rally courses if you are behind a car the dust will get in your face and obscure your view…haha! Even more so than the graphics is the physics especially in the rally races! The over and under steer physics are so right on!
